With equal distances to the famous beaches of Ft. Myers Beach/Sanibel Island in the south and Boca Grande in the north, and just a 5-minute car drive to Burnt Store Marina with its beautiful yachts and the Cass Cay waterfront restaurant and bar, this Floridian-style Gulf access vacation home has plenty to offer. Villa Ellis is a well-maintained 2,252 SF vacation home located in NW Cape Coral. It offers 3 bedrooms with 2.5 baths. Villa Ellis features a full-length screened lanai with a heated pool and spa, providing a beautiful outdoor living space for everybody. The design of Villa Ellis makes it very attractive for a family or friends traveling together, even with a smaller dog (max. 35 lbs.).
As soon as you enter Villa Ellis, the open floor plan will give you the feeling of luxurious space. The large living room area with high ceilings and ceiling fans offers a comfortable couch, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a stereo surround sound system; what a great place for family entertainment! From here, you have an impressive view of the lanai and pool/spa through the full-width glass sliding doors.
The fully furnished gourmet kitchen features attractive wooden cabinets, modern appliances, and a convenient breakfast bar. Nearby is a breakfast nook with a pool view, which seats four, and a formal dining area, which seats an additional four.
The master suite also has access to the lanai via large glass sliding doors and features a King-size bed, roomy walk-in closets, and an elegant master bath with a jetted center tub, large walk-through shower, and two rows of cabinets with sinks.
There is a guest bedroom with a Queen-size bed and another with two Twin beds. They both share the second bathroom, which features a shower-tub setup. There is also a half bath that is accessible from the lanai.
Villa Ellis’ screened full-width lanai features an oversized electric-heated pool with an attached overflow feature, as well as a comfortable dining area for 6 guests. Florida living is all about celebrating life in the sun by the pool and experiencing the typical Florida “beachy” feeling in a light breeze, which can be done by relaxing on one of the four loungers. A concrete deck at the Gulf access canal provides additional space for waterfront sunbathing.

We had a wonderful time staying 9 nights at the Villa Ellis. The house was spotless and the location is so private (which is exactly what we were looking for). Check in/out process was clear and the management company was very accommodating when we decided to stay extra nights! We were a little bummed (being from Wisconsin) that what looked to be a hot tub did not heat to any warmer than the pool temperature. It’s explained in the description as a “spa without jets” which I wondered about but I never inquired about it. My fault, I should’ve clarified when I read the description. The house and location definitely made up for the lack of hot tub though, and we still had a wonderful vacation. Also, this is our 4th time renting in Cape Coral and this was by far the best management company we’ve dealt with. Definitely will go with SWFL company again!! - L.G.

Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to us for this past week. Us, along with our 2 kids, and 2 of their friends enjoyed every ounce of sun and fun. We visited Sanibel Island, Matlacha, Pine Island and Cape Coral Harbour. We most enjoyed hanging out by the pool and on the dock. We were able to catch some cat fish and even saw an alligator, which the boys loved. We hope we are able to visit in the future again. Enjoy the coastal-waterway with a great home swimming pool, spa, outdoor shower, and poolside bathroom. We were in the pool for hours each day. The home layout is the best--all views are onto the swimming pool with full-sliding doors to maximize the view and interaction with the family. Great sunsets each night---and we watched manatees and jumping fish each day from the enclosed pool area. You are minutes from gulf beaches (20-35 mins) and great local and more upscale public yacht club on-the-water restaurants (5-20 mins). The local Publix nearby grocery stores are convenient and high quality. - E.S.
