THE COMPANY

SWFL Real Estate Services, LLC is a German American family-owned business, which we founded in 2008 after many years of professional experience in real estate and financing in Cape Coral, located in Southwest Florida.

We are a close-knit team that takes customer service seriously, offering professional yet friendly service to both owners and tenants alike. Our office staff is here to help any time, and our check-in team members out in the field can give you all the hot spots in the area to check out during your stay.

These are reasons why many of our vacationing tenants have returned year after year, and why rental homeowners stay with us long term.

 

THE SERVICE

We thrive to provide the best possible service to our customers, beginning with the first contacts by phone or email and making reservations. 

In addition to the typical Real Estate business, we also offer services such as vacation home and annual rentals in Cape Coral, as well as property management for annual rentals and boat rentals. We advertise your rental property worldwide on our own site, as well as other proven special websites. 

 

THE OWNERS

Christina Kalkmann has always been fascinated by the German real estate industry and wanted to get business experience in a foreign country. As the North American real estate market boomed, she decided to move to the US in 2002 and work at the largest real estate company in the US, Re/Max. There, she worked in a Florida branch as a sales associate assistant and mortgage broker until 2008 and accumulated additional experience in annual and vacation rentals, as well as property management.

2001 – Bachelor (Business Administration)

2001/2002 – Intern at Mercedes Benz (Quality Management)

2002-2003 – Re/Max, Cape Coral (Receptionist)

2003-2008 – Re/Max, Cape Coral (Sales Associate Assistant and Mortgage Processor, later Mortgage Broker)

2008-2013 – Sales Associate (started Annual Rentals, Vacation Rentals & Property Management)

2013-Present – Real Estate Broker

 

Carsten Kalkmann worked for 15 years for a large German concrete pumping company. This company was heavily involved in building and rebuilding major privately and governmentally owned facilities after the fall of the Berlin wall. In 2007 he came to the United States, studying at Hodgins University from 2007 to 2009.

1990 -2007 – Dispatch Coordinator

2010 – Became a Certified Property Manager in the state of FL
