Villa Tara is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath Floridian Gulf access vacation villa with 2,124 sq. ft. living space on a professionally maintained property with tropical landscaping. It is located in a quiet and very desirable neighborhood of SE Cape Coral on a Gulf access canal with less than a 5 minute boat drive to the Caloosahatchee River making this home a perfect choice for vacationers with the desire to roam the Gulf islands by boat. A huge variety of restaurants, bars and shopping centers can be reached within 5 to 10 minutes very conveniently by car.
When you enter the house you will appreciate the comfortable furnishings and tasteful decorations. This sailboat-access pool home is perfect for families or couples traveling together who want to enjoy boating in the soothing Florida sun. The lanai has western exposure with an electric heated pool and comfortable seating. It will make you feel like being on your very own tropical oasis. Relax in one of the lounge chairs and savor the amazing waterfront views. Just walk down to the large boat dock at the canal and work on your very own Florida tan, watch dolphins or manatees swim by or try your luck with fishing. Enjoy cocktails under the Tiki Hut!! There is also a large gas grill available for outdoor cooking where you can prepare your catch of the day.
The fully furnished kitchen with its elegantly finished granite counter tops, cabinets, and modern stainless-steel appliances. The kitchen has everything necessary to prepare delicious meals.
The spacious Master Suite features a king-size bed and flat screen TV. There is also a seating area in the master bedroom with a daybed and doors to the lanai area. There are two guest bedrooms. The first featuring a Queen bed and flat screen TV, the second with two twin beds and a flat screen TV. This home as two guest bathrooms both with showers which will allow each bedroom to have its own bath.
The living room has brand new furniture and a flat screen TV. Of course, there is high-speed internet and wireless Wi-Fi offered. The family room at the rear of the home features a large sectional offering enough seating for the whole family and a flat screen TV. This is also where the dining area is located where you can enjoy splendid water views and watch the gorgeous Florida sunsets. We had a great time, house had everything we needed. We found a few dead bugs around the house, but seemed like no one was there for a while so normal bugs you would see in a closed house. Other than that everything was as described, we would definitely come back. - L.F.

We recently stayed at Villa Tara in Cape Coral. Wow what a wonderful home. It was very spacious and had all the amenities required. Great access to area beaches and local restaurants and attractions. Enjoyed the neighborhood feel of the area. Recommend this property to other. - M.T.

We recently completed a fantastic two-month stay at Villa Tara. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The property is in a very quiet area with very nice neighbors. We had quick access to the great restaurants and entertainment that Cape Coral, Ft Myers, Ft Myers Beach, Captiva, and Sanibel have to offer. The home is located just a block away from the river and is ideally located for walks etc.. The interior of the home has been remodeled and is very nice with new furnishings. It is rare that you find a 3-bedroom rental with 3 baths. The house was well equipped with most anything we could think of. Our daughter enjoyed using the provided kayaks. We took advantage of the sun and the heated pool which is a nice size. The views from the pool and lanai are great and the sunsets are wonderful! We had visitors several times during our stay and the size of the home was perfect both for entertainment and for individual privacy because of the layout. We would love to stay again. J.S.

Our stay at Villa Tara was great. Photos online are representative of the property. Comfortable sitting rooms, useful kitchen, comfortable and private bedrooms. There are two bedrooms w attached bathrooms, the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds, not great for larger adults, but more than adequate for smaller framed adults, teens, kids. We didn"t get to use many of the amenities like the pool and kayaks, but did enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood and sunrises on the canal. Communication with the property management company was really good. Yet, their policy to require a cashiers check for late-notice bookings was inconvenient. All in all, it was a great experience. There was minor repair issue which I took photos of and notified at the beginning of the stay and the end of the day, it was the curtain rod hooks in the wall were not properly installed, so two hooks fell out while we were there but it was clear it had happened a few times before. Hopefully those get installed properly. The home is self is a remodel, done well. Just don"t expect this home to be a brand new build, but expect a nicely done upgrade, as such sometime light switches, outlets, or lights had fixed positions before the upgrade. All functioned fine, just maybe not intuitive for some. The home was decorated well, and provided a cozy, casual, hospitable feeling. My wife wasn"t there, but she would have been impressed and comfortable. As for location and neighborhood, it is a long walk to any restaurants or stores so plan to drive. The location is quiet and quaint neighborhood where many homes are well maintained and upgraded even though the community has been around for decades. Saw lots of friendly retirees walking their dogs in the morning and evening. We are told that traffic in Cape Coral and Ft Myers is congested during snow-bird season. It wasn"t too bad in mid-November. All in all: great stay. - J.R.

This home is beautifully decorated with an open floor plan. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. We particularly enjoyed the pool and kayaking off the dock. The view in every direction is breathtaking! We can’t wait to return to this home again in the future! - C.D.

This was such an amazing place to stay!! Villa Tara was so clean and had a real relaxing “home” feeling to it. There is plenty of space and it is full of all the items you may need. There are even kayaks on the property you can take out on the canal! The pool is so refreshing and has a cute little waterfall! The property is located close to a lot of good restaurants and several wonderful beaches are only a short drive away. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Florida! - L.D.
