Villa Palm View is in the peaceful SE Cape Coral on a canal with access to the Gulf of Mexico. This traditional 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home has a split floor plan on 2,296 sq. ft. living space is perfect for families up to 8 people or for a group of friends. Conveniently located it takes only a short 5 minute drive to a variety of restaurants, bars, shopping centers, etc., and only about 10 minutes to get to the Tarpon Point Marina, or the lovely Spanish style Cape Harbor Luxury Yacht Marina with their beautiful boutiques, bars and restaurants, the Cape Coral Beach at the Yacht Club, or to the nearest 3 of our 8 local golf courses.
Upon entering Villa Palm View you will feel the charming, traditional Florida lifestyle of the owners. From the wide-open living room with the comfortable couch/love seat arrangement, and flat screen TV you have access through two large French doors to the full width lanai with the heated pool and spa overlooking the Gulf access canal. Watch motor boats passing by on their way to the Gulf of Mexico. The lanai features also a gas grill and a round umbrella table for exciting BBQ dinners under the star-spangled sky of Florida. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen includes modern appliances, a kitchen island and has everything to prepare full meals or party snacks. A convenient breakfast bar and breakfast corner are perfect for a “breakfast in a hurry”. The separate dining area in the front section of the house is providing the right ambience for formal dining. Next to it is a cozy reading area for those who want to step away from the action reading a favorite book or just sipping a glass of wine or cocktail.
The master suite features a King-size bed and TV, and a roomy master bath. Two guest rooms have Queen-size beds and the den has a Queen Sleeper couch and a desk. They share the other two bathrooms, one of which can also be accessed from the lanai. Enjoy the great waterfront view from the sundeck, or from the screened lanai area while having a good time in the electric heated pool and spa. Our trip was more about working & schooling remotely than vacationing. This house gave us the perfect change of scenery our family needed. Very specious for a three bedroom, and great WiFi so kids could be on Zooms for classes while hubs and I also worked. The heated pool and hot tub were great, even on the cooler days! - C.L.

We stayed at a SWFL property over the long Thanksgiving weekend. Dealing with SWFL personnel was always a pleasure and they were very professional. Questions we had were quickly answered. We had a few issues which the manager took care of and had a wonderful stay. The property seemed older and more "used" than other properties we have rented, but the problems were small and didn"t put too much of a damper on the weekend. We would contact SWFL again for future vacation rentals. - S.P.

Our stay was quite pleasant. The home was well maintained. Having three bedrooms and three bathrooms was a bonus. The pool and hot tub were well used by us. Only drawback was the removal of the solar cover was little tedious. It would have been nice if bikes were provided. We also did find that the speed limit on Santa Barbara Blvd was quite high for an inner city road. Only other issue is it would have been nice if after we had arrived we were then given first right of refusal for next year versus having to make a decision three weeks before we arrived. It’s obvious that rentals get snatched up fairly quickly so waiting a month for us to decide would not have been a great burden on the owners. Hopefully we can do business again in the future. - L.F.

Our family recently celebrated my in laws 50th wedding anniversary by staying at Villa Palm View over the Labor weekend. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures and from the outside. A lot of times when we rent homes we have to go out and buy basics such as salt and pepper but that was not the case here - plenty of spices and seasonings as well as paper towels and plates, ziploc bags, even laundry detergent! A big concern was red tide smell and we had no issues at all. My husband even saw dolphins in the canal! Ann came to do our check in and was so nice and helpful in recommending where to purchase seafood. The ladies in the office were great to work with as well answering any and all questions promptly as I can be high maintenance in that regard lol Overall, we had amazing time and would rent this house again. - J.S.
