The house was amazing and the perfect place to wind down some overly stressed small business owners. The home was clean and the pool spa and breathtaking views from the back of the house were spectacular. Having the dock was a plus for the 5 day boat rental we had to get out and explore the water ways. highly recommended - C.W.

Great property- not fancy inside (except the master bath) but the pool and spa are perfection. The extra large dock is the perfect spot to soak up the sun. It’s a nice location and close to plenty of great places to eat. We would definitely come back! - J.L.

Good but not great ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
This property is quite nice and well furnished. It contained everything we needed for our stay and the pool & hot tub were as advertised. In fact, due to some creative construction and landscaping we even enjoyed more privacy than one would expect with adjacent houses close by. I must say, however, the beds are extremely firm. I know this is a subjective matter, and will admit to being something of a "mattress snob". That said, these were so firm (and I tried every bed there) that I woke up with shoulder, hip and knee pain after one night and had to go out and purchase a pillow topper to make them tolerable. When we arrived we were unable to get the hot tub to heat up but a call to the property manager had someone there to assist within minutes. I believe the name of the gentleman who came to help us was Dave and he was friendly, professional and, most importantly, knowledgeable; he had the hot tub heating within minutes of his arrival and assisted me with the system"s operation so that the rest of our stay would go smoothly. Unfortunately that good experience was supplanted the next morning when we were interrupted by the arrival of another member of the property management team. Her stated purpose was to complete their "check in procedure". This was senseless to us since we were already in the property and had all questions we needed to be answered addressed the previous day. This employee would not accept "no thank you" as an answer either. We were forced to stop getting ready to enjoy our day so that she could enter and check this off of her list. Also, we were called on multiple occasions by the property manager to check on us. While I can appreciate their intentions we were there to relax, not be bothered. Had we needed something I had already demonstrated that I knew how to reach them. Finally, even though the listing for this property does mention that guests will be charged for "excessive electrical usage", I was shocked to learn after we arrived back home that we had incurred $45 of "excessive electrical fees". Yes, we heated the hot tub during our stay but, in my opinion, that should have been expected. We chose a unit with a hot tub specifically for that reason. However, there were only 2 of us in a unit that sleeps 8, we spent most of our time away from the property and we only cooked one pan of cookies the entire time we were there. Given these issues we would be reluctant to return to this property.
Management Response: Thank you for your feedback, because it is very important to us. We will certainly pass on your experience with the beds at the home to the owner and see if they can maybe purchase pillow toppers for guests who feel the mattresses are too hard. We do perform a "check-in" the morning after your arrival, which is to give you the opportunity to report anything as well as explain how to use the pool equipment and answer any questions about the house that you may have so you can fully experience the home. Our team offers a follow-up phone call that day to ensure that the check-in team member was able to answer all of your questions. The electric usage was not considered "excessive usage," but may have gone above the $50/week allowance that the home has in place. We hope that you were able to enjoy your stay, and we appreciate the input so we may further improve our services for future guests.
